SEPTEMBER 5 - TRENTON NE
Rodeo Friends,
Welcome to the 2009 Northwest Kansas I -70 Rodeo Series. I would
like to thank all of the
Fairboard and Rodeo committees for joining in on what I believe will be a
great benefit to our
rodeo's. We will feature these seven rodeos in our series:
Wallace May 23 & 24
McCracken July 10 & 11
Hays July 14 & 15
Atwood July 21 & 22
Oakley July 23
Hoxie July 24 & 25
Colby July 27 & 28
Our purpose for starting a rodeo series this year is to try and bring more
cowboys to our rodeos. Knowing that times will be a little tough, we will
have extra added money in a separate pot. Throughout the series we will be
keeping track of contestants who place at six or more of these rodeos. You
must compete at six of the seven rodeos to be eligible for the series bonus
money.
Our points system will be:
1st 10 points
2nd 9 points
3rd 8 points
4th 7 points
5th 6 points
6th 5 points
7th 4 points
8th 3 points
9th or more 2 points
At the end of the series, we will pay three places from the extra added money
that all of the committees are getting together. If there are any questions
call 785-462-2041.
Thanks,
Clair Schrock
Thomas County Fair Rodeo Chairman
