STATEMENT OF PURPOSE
The purpose of the Kansas Professional Rodeo Association, Inc. (KPRA) shall be to promote rodeos as a sport and profession, striving at all times to insure honesty and fairness to both the contestants and the producers; to create an amicable relationship among stock contractors, rodeo committees and contestants, to inspect, approve and help advertise rodeos being sponsored in accordance with KPRA standards.

KPRA SUPPORTER OF THE YEAR

DWAYNE PANZER

Dwayne Panzer was voted as supporter of the year because of his many

Years of dedication and service to the KPRA.

Dwayne has served the KPRA in many ways.  He has been a contestant,

Board member, Vice President and President and Judge.

Dwayne is always willing to help in anyway he can at a

KPRA Rodeo or Finals.

2007 RODEO OF THE YEAR

GREENSBURG

Accepting the award is Patrick Greenleaf

The rodeo of the year is determined by the members voting

for their favorite rodeo of the year at the KPRA Finals.

This year the most votes went to Greensburg who pulled together as a

community and committee, and with the determination of their stock contractor,

Medicine River Rodeo Co (Mike Greenleaf), to successfully host their

KPRA rodeo not even one month after the town of Greensburg was

destroyed by a devastating tornado.

Congratulations Greensburg from being the

Best New Rodeo in 2006 to Rodeo of the Year in 2007!!

Each year a KPRA rodeo committee is recognized for their outstanding rodeo production,

added money and contestant hospitality.

This year it went to Elkhart and McCracken who have each been

awarded the Rodeo of the Year numerous times.

Every year they strive to improve their rodeos to make them bigger and better

for the contestants as well as the rodeo fans.

Hats off to each of you for another outstanding year!!
